In 1998 we published our first website on AOL using free tools. In 2000 we made the move to www.AtlanticKayakTours.com. The address is not the only thing to change. We have moved to using professional web tools from Adobe including GoLive, Photoshop, Illustrator and LiveMotion. As we learn more about website development the site continues to get better. The site is totally done in house.
Photos continue to be added to the site. We try to keep each photo under 20K, they are small and grainy but if you click on many photos you will see a larger, less compressed version. The photos have been submitted by many clients and staff, but an extra thanks must go to Sid Stone for all the photos he sends in.
Bob Volin's continued work on the Expert Center has made it into one of the most useful kayaking websites. New articles are always in the works, by many different known paddlers.
We hope that the continued work on the site will make finding information easier and faster. Gradually we will add more graphics and animation.
E-mail us what you think about the site and how we can make it better. We would like to know the three things you like most about the site and the three things you would like added or changed to the site. Also let us know how we can make it better or if you have any problems with it.
