Visiting Coach Assistants
Guidelines for Visiting Coach Assistants
We allow BCU coaches to come and assist on programs. Each year we have more coaches requesting to come and help on programs. Following are the guidelines for this. This offer is to help coaches move up the BCU system. The value in doing this is to observe other coaches and the feedback you receive after the program.
Guidelines
- Our first responsibility is to our students.
- Only one visiting coach on a program.
- Arrangements must be made well in advance.
- A liability release form will need to be signed.
- This offer can change or be cancelled at anytime.
- Visiting coaches will be scheduled when a more Senior Atlantic Kayak Tours Coach is running the program. You'll have the opportunity to work with someone with varied experiences and receive in depth feedback at the end of the program.
- This offer is not applicable when we have a high level visiting Coach (Level 5). Any available spaces will be filled with our own staff.
- If the Atlantic Kayak Tours head Coach of the program doesn't know the visiting Coach, the head Coach will probably have the guest coach observe more than coach.
